  • No animal by-products of any type either meat and bone meal, tallow or dry fat were ever used in the  Feed Mill since its construction in 1987.
  • J Grennan & Sons were the first Feed Mill in the country to declare all the ingredients In every ration. Unlike other feeds, with   coarse feeds you can identify ingredients by sight and have the actual level of each ingredient declared to you.
  • J Grennan & Sons Mill production records and the Feed Mill itself are open for inspection at any time.
  • J Grennan & Sons provide full traceability of all   rations. On each pallet of feed we produce, you will find a quality control sticker giving the details required to trace that pallet back through production.
  • (This sticker actually covers a hole in the bag where a small portion of the product has been removed for inspection)
  • All raw materials used in the manufacturing of   rations are rigorously inspected and tested to ensure they are up to our product specifications.
  • .All of these assurances are backed up by our HACCP Quality Control system which defines and documents all aspects of our feed milling operations, from raw-material inspection through to delivery of finished product.
